• Surrealism is a cultural movement developed in the 1920s.
• The work of surrealism produced an element of surprise, abnormal imagery and unexpected juxtapositions.
• The term of surrealist was devised by a poet called Guillaume Apollinaire

Likes and dislikes

•  I like the manipulation of common things with more then what is expected is very interesting and appealing (e.g. looks like an island with houses but it is actually a dinosaur).
• I like the mixture of fantasy and normal entities, this provides an audience with the means to let them express their imaginations.
• I dislike how weird the art can become at times, even if they have deep meanings.
